ArcelorMittal (MT) said Thursday that it has acquired Exosun, a provider of solar trackers, which orient solar-powered devices toward the sun, after a court in Bordeaux, France cleared the deal.

Exosun employs 43 workers and has completed more than 55 projects worldwide, ArcelorMittal said. It will be integrated into the steelmaker's projects unit, which develops energy and construction-infrastructure projects.

ArcelorMittal has already made headway in the market for solar energy through the production of metal structures for solar parks.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
