Unemployment from the UK and industrial production from euro area are due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Destatis is slated to release Germany's final consumer price data. Inflation is expected to match the flash estimate of 1.5 percent in May.

In the meantime, consumer price data is due from Finland. In April, inflation was 0.8 percent.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics publishes UK unemployment data. The ILO jobless rate is forecast to remain at 4.6 percent in three months to April.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurozone industrial output data is due. Economists expect production to grow 0.5 percent on month in April, reversing a 0.1 percent drop in March.
