GBPJPY Pound Sterling vs Japanese Yen

The pound bounced off from its early lows against its major counterparts in the early European session on Monday.

The pound recovered to 141.28 against the yen, from an early low of 140.60. The pound had set a 2-month high of 141.89 early in the Asian session.

The pound rose back to 1.2833 against the greenback, from a low of 1.2774 hit at 2:30 am ET. This may be compared to an early 4-day high of 1.2838.

The pound was trading at 1.2750 against the franc and 0.8476 against the euro, up from early 6-day lows of 1.2686 and 0.8501, respectively.

The next possible resistance for the pound is seen around 145.00 against the yen, 1.32 against the greenback, 1.30 against the franc and 0.82 against the euro.
