French construction-materials producer Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA (SGO.FR) said Monday that it has completed the purchase of Norwegian insulation manufacturer Glava.

Neither party disclosed financial details of the deal.

Saint-Gobain first announced plans to buy the shares of Glava's founding families and shareholders in June. The transaction is now complete, following regulatory approval from the Norwegian Competition Authority.

The acquisition of Glava, which reported sales of more than 140 million euros ($165.5 million) in 2016, will enable Saint-Gobain to reinforce its position in the Nordic region.
