The normal UK Level 2 market maker quote screen only shows quotes (to buy and sell shares) made by market makers on the London Stock Exchange. These quotes sit behind the Bid - Offer spread on a normal stock quote (level 1 data).

A significant number of shares listed on the LSE are also traded by market makers through the PLUS markets trading platform, where another set of quotes are made.
