Aegon Appoints Prudential Financial Executive as CEO of Asset-Management Arm

Dutch insurer Aegon NV (AGN.AE) said Wednesday that it has
appointed Bas NieuweWeme as the next chief executive of its
asset-management arm, replacing Sarah Russell.
Mr. NieuweWeme will join on June 24. He is currently global head
of institutional relations at the investment-management business of
U.S. insurer Prudential Financial Inc. (PRU).
Aegon Asset Management has 315 billion euros ($352 billion) in
assets under management.
