Air Liquide SA (AI.FR) said Thursday that it will expand its home health-care services for diabetic patients in Germany and Benelux.

The French industrial-gas supplier said it will use the technology of U.S. manufacturer Tandem Diabetes Care Inc. (TNDM) to provide its patients in the regions with modern insulin pumps.

"The insulin pump, combined with a continuous glucose monitoring system, makes it possible to anticipate the risks of hypoglycemia and automatically suspend the delivery of insulin, facilitating the use of the pump on a daily basis," the company said.
