Airbus: Air Methods Signs $24 Million Contract With Airbus Helicopters

European plane maker Airbus SE said Thursday that Air Methods
Corp. signed a $24 million contract with Airbus Helicopters Inc.
that will run for five years.
Under the agreement, the European plane maker will provide
services like helicopter maintenance, material management and
technical support for the air medical-service provider's fleet of
31 EC145 helicopters.
"This is Air Methods' first HCare contract with Airbus, and
discussions are underway to extend similar support coverage to
other aircraft models in the Air Methods fleet, which also includes
the H125, H130, H135 and H145," said Airbus.
