Airbus SE said Friday that its subsidiary Airbus Helicopters SAS has signed a contract with German company HTM Helicopters Travel Munich GmbH to deliver two H145 aircrafts for use in offshore wind operations.

Airbus didn't disclose financial terms of the contract.

The company said that delivery of the first helicopter is due in the fourth quarter of this year, while the second will be delivered mid next year.

According to Airbus, HTM Helicopters will use the aircrafts for passenger transport to and from wind farms and to hoist technicians to wind turbines as part of its offshore operations.
