Airbus SE said Friday that it has signed a firm contract to deliver five H135 helicopters to the Austrian air rescue service OAMTC Air Rescue.

The European plane maker said its subsidiary, Airbus Helicopters SAS, will deliver the first of the helicopters to the rescue service in early 2022.

The new planes will add to the 28 H135 helicopters already operated by OAMTC.

Airbus did not disclose the financial terms of the contract.
