--Atlantia is considering a renewed bid for Abertis that will value the company between one euro ($1.25) and EUR2 a share more than ACS's rival bid of EUR18.76 a share, reports ABC, citing sources.

--The Italian toll-road operator is likely to submit a bid of around EUR20 a share, up from its current cash-and-share offer of EUR16.50 a share, according to ABC.

--The new bid will likely have a greater cash component than the initial offer, says ABC.
