European Economics Preview: UK Factory PMI Data Due

Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' survey from the UK and other
major European economies are due on Tuesday, headlining a busy day
for the European economic news.
At 2.00 am ET, Destatis is scheduled to issue Germany's retail
sales data for February. Sales are forecast to grow 0.8 percent on
month, in contrast to a 1 percent fall in January.
At 3.00 am ET, quarterly national accounts from the Czech
Republic and consumer prices from Turkey are due. Economists
forecast inflation to ease to 10.03 percent in March from 10.26
percent in February.
At 3.15 am ET, the Federal Statistical Office releases Swiss
retail sales for January. In the meantime, Spain's factory PMI is
due.
At 3.45 am ET, IHS Markit is scheduled to release Italy's
factory PMI. The index is seen at 55.5 in March versus 56.8 in
February.
Thereafter, final PMI figures are due from France and
Germany.
At 4.00 am ET, final Eurozone manufacturing PMI is due. The
index is expected to match the flash score of 56.6 in March.
At 4.30 am ET, UK CIPS/Markit factory PMI is due. Economists
forecast the index to fall to 54.7 in March from 55.2 in
February.
