Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV said Wednesday that it swung to a third-quarter net profit, and provided guidance for the full year.

The Italian-American car maker posted a net profit of 1.21 billion euros ($1.43 billion) compared with a loss of EUR179 million for the same period the year prior.

It posted adjusted earnings before interest and taxes of EUR2.28 billion compared with EUR1.96 billion a year earlier. Its adjusted earnings exclude certain effects such as investments disposals or restructuring.

Quarterly revenue fell 6% to EUR25.81 billion.

For the full year, the company expects adjusted EBIT in the range of EUR3.0 billion and EUR3.5 billion and industrial cash flows of between minus EUR1.0 billion and EUR0.0 billion. Its targets are based on the assumption of no additional significant disruptions related to the coronavirus pandemic.
