IBM Launches AI-Backed Watson Ads Builder

International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) said it launched
Watson Ads Builder, a self-service advertising offering that uses
artificial intelligence.
IBM said a creative agency can use Watson Ads Builder to create
ads that can enable a conversation and answer clients' questions
based on near real-time dialogue. Prior to Watson Ads Builder, the
typical conversational design might take months to develop and
could require specialized skills and manual effort, IBM said.
"Consumer expectations are shifting, and people expect the
ability to communicate with brands on demand," said Jeremy
Hlavacek, head of revenue for IBM Watson Advertising.
IBM shares were up 0.7% in afternoon trading.
