Infrastrutture Wireless Italiane SpA said Friday that it has appointed the board of directors that will take office on the day of the merger with Vodafone Group PLC's Vodafone Tower Srl.

The Italian company said it elected 13 directors, including 10 directors from shareholder Telecom Italia SpA's list. Telecom holds a 60% share in Inwit.

Inwit said the board members will serve a term of three financial years and will be remunerated a maximum total of 900,000 euros ($971,377).
