Leonardo Partners With Northrop Grumman to Bid for New Zealand Aircraft Contract

Leonardo SpA (LDO.MI) said Wednesday that it will jointly bid
with aircraft and electronic-component provider Northrop Grumman
Corp.'s (NOC) Australian team to offer the C-27J military aircraft
as a replacement to the Royal New Zealand Air Force's aging C-130H
military fleet.
The Italian aerospace-and-defense company said it signed a
memorandum of understanding with Northrop Grumman to build on their
existing partnership to offer the aircraft, manufactured by
Leonardo.
