France's Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA (SGO.FR) said Tuesday that it has agreed to sell part of its U.K.-based subsidiary, Glassolutions, to CoBe Capital as part of its strategic overhaul.

The unit generates annual revenue of about 70 million pounds ($91.9 million) and employs about 440 employees, Saint-Gobain said. The French multinational didn't disclose the financial details of the deal with the private-equity firm.

The transfer will be effective on Wednesday, the company said.
