A consortium led by Suez SA (SEV.FR) and Norway's Halvorsen TEC
has been selected by Statoil ASA (STL.OS) to supply equipment and
make a seawater sulphate removal system for an oil project in
Norway, the French utility said on Tuesday.
Its unit Suez Water Technologies & Solutions will supply
nanofiltration membranes and an ultrafiltration pre-treatment
system, with delivery of the equipment expected for 2020, it said.
The contract follows a yearlong front-end engineering design
plan.
