France's Suez SA (SEV.FR) and Russia's Rosneft-Dagneft (RDNE.RS) have signed a cooperation agreement for the provision of water and waste treatment programs across Rosneft sites, Suez said Friday.

The agreement will advance technology development and implementation of several programs at Rosneft refinery and petrochemical sites, with Suez providing technology and solutions.

Areas involved includes wastewater pre-treatment, desalination, and water purification.

Suez said it already has an agreement with Rosneft to provide cooling water treatment services at Rosneft refineries.

Rosneft has plants in Russia and other countries.
