Telecom Italia S.p.A. (TIT.MI) said Tuesday that it has created a chief innovation and partnership office, headed by Elisabetta Romano.

The Italian telecommunications company said that Ms. Romano will be responsible for driving innovation at the company, as well as maximizing the value strategic partnership with collaborating companies.

As part of the organizational changes, Telecom Italia also said it will rename its chief technology and innovation office to chief technology and information office. The office, led by Michele Gamberini, will report directly to the chief executive officer.

Meanwhile, the chief wholesale infrastructure network and systems office has been renamed the chief operations office. The wholesale market function has been put under the management of Chief Regulatory Affairs Officer Giovanni Moglia, who now has the title of chief regulatory affairs and wholesale market.
