Vinci SA (DG.FR) said Tuesday that revenue in its first quarter of 2019 rose, helped by solid growth in France and internationally.

The company said revenue for the period ending March 31 was 9.7 billion euros ($10.9 billion), compared with EUR8.85 billion a year earlier.

Revenue in France stood at EUR5.58 billion, up 6.2% on a like-for-like basis. The rise was partly due to an increase in traffic on the Vinci Autoroutes network, one of its concessions, it said.

Revenue outside France was up 5.5% at EUR4.12 billion, helped by the integration of the most recent acquisitions at the Vinci Energies, Eurovia and Vinci Airports units, the company said.

Vinci confirmed its outlook for 2019, which includes further growth in revenue and profit.
