HYDRO INTERNATIONAL PLC ("Hydro")

Further to the release earlier today of Hydro's preliminary results for the year
ended 31 December 2002, the Board of Hydro announces that Hydro's maiden final
dividend of 1 pence per share will be paid on 20 June 2003 to those shareholders
on the register on 16 May 2003.
