Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 27, 2023, Palatin Technologies, Inc. issued a press release reporting on a poster and presentation at the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) annual meeting on the effectiveness of PL9643 in treating signs and symptoms of moderate to severe dry eye disease. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
