Hashlock, a leader in Web3 security and smart contract auditing, is proud to announce the successful completion of a security audit for Moonopol, a Solana program implemented with Anchor that creates and manages decentralized binary prediction markets, enabling users to place and match both limit and market orders using USDC as collateral. It handles market initialization, order matching via complex PDA-based mechanisms, market resolution, and reward distribution while maintaining strict economic and state invariants.

The Moonopol team partnered with Hashlock to conduct a security audit of their moonopol-alpha Solana program. Hashlock manually and proactively reviewed the code in order to ensure the project’s team and community that the deployed contracts were secure.

Hashlock audited the Solana Rust code within the Moonopol project, the scope of work included a comprehensive review of Moonopol programs. They tested the smart contracts to check for their security and efficiency. These tests were undertaken primarily through manual line-by-line analysis and were supported by software-assisted testing.

After Hashlock’s Audit, they found the smart contracts to be “Secure”. The contracts all follow advanced logic, with complex operations and assumptions. They initially identified some vulnerabilities that have since been addressed.

All issues uncovered during automated and manual analysis were meticulously reviewed and applicable vulnerabilities are presented in the Audit Findings section.
