Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that Annie Murphy is to be appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 6 September 2023.

Annie has held senior roles at fast moving consumer goods and retail companies including PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble and, most recently, as SVP, Global Chief Commercial Officer - Brands and International at Walgreens Boots Alliance until January 2023. Annie is also Deputy Chair and a Board Member of the British Beauty Council.

Annie will become a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees on appointment.

The Company confirms that there are no further details to disclose under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules in respect of the new director.
