                               MEDIA BANKER JOINS

                               THE WIRELESS GROUP

                          AS A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Stephen Davidson, an executive with more than 25 years in banking, media and
telecommunications, is to join the board as a non-executive director of The
Wireless Group, owners of the UK's Number One commercial radio station
talkSPORT.

Davidson was most recently vice-chairman of investment banking and global head
of Technology, Media and Telecommunications at WestLB Panmure. He is also a
former chief executive of Telewest and treasurer of US entertainment group
Lorimar.

The Wireless Group, owners of talkSPORT and 13 local radio stations, recently
posted its first ever half-year profit of #0.6 million for the six months to
June and announced that it was seeking more acquisitions in radio.

Davidson -- whose appointment will be confirmed on December 4th -- replaces
non-executive director Peter Wilkinson.

  * Mr Stephen Davidson was a director of ENIC plc until 31 March 2003 when he
    resigned on the takeover of the company by Kondar Limited. No details are
    required to be disclosed under paragraph 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the listing
    rules. Mr Davidson will join the board on 4 December 2003.

  * talkSPORT is the UK's Number One commercial station, with 7.2 million
    listeners every week, according to the latest national broadcast media
    survey of radio and TV audiences by international research company GfK Media
    (Survey period April 21, 2003 - July 20, 2003. Sample size: 2,000+ adults
    16+).
