Item 5.02			Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On April 4, 2022, Charles L. Szews, a member of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Allegion plc (the “Company”) informed the Company of his intent not to stand for re-election to the Board at the Company’s 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Mr. Szews will be retiring from the Board on June 2, 2022.

On April 4, 2022, the Board appointed Kirk S. Hachigian as Lead Director and Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee, effective immediately.
