MGF MFS Government Markets Income Trust

STOCKHOLM--Teliasonera AB (TLSN.SK), the Swedish telecommunications company, Tuesday said its chief executive, Lars Nyberg, will participate in the initial public offering of Russia's MegaFon through a private investment of $2 million.

 
   MAIN FACTS: 

-"I have a strong belief in the future prospects of MegaFon. As a member of the MegaFon board, making a sizeable investment in the company is a way for me to show my commitment," said Mr. Nyberg.

-The shares will be purchased at the offer price.

-At 0813 GMT shares traded 0.1% higher at SEK44.78.
