--British broadcaster ITV PLC is among a number of parties interested in buying Endemol Shine Group, the Dutch production company behind TV programs including Big Brother, The Fall and MasterChef, The Sunday Times of London reports.

--ITV, which has a market capitalization of around GBP6.4 billion, would need to partially fund the $4.0 billion deal with shares or a rights issue, The Sunday Times reports.

--An ITV spokeswoman declined to comment on the report, as FTSE 100-listed shares in the broadcaster traded 1.8% lower Monday.
