Stellantis NV said Wednesday that it will establish a software development and engineering hub in Poland that will contribute to the company's work towards software-defined vehicles.

The global car maker that owns Jeep and Ram among other brands said the new tech hub will be primarily focused on base software development resources for its existing operations in Europe.

The tech-hub will be located in Gliwice, near a Stellantis manufacturing plant, and employ 300 people, the company said.

The company will partner with GlobalLogic Inc., a U.S. supplier of digital engineering services, for recruiting and establishing the hub.
