Issue of Equity Update


Further to the announcement made on 10 July 2006, GVM, the Australian mineral
processing and coal mining company with assets in South Africa, is pleased to
announce that its proposed placement of 24,615,384 shares in the capital of the
Company at a price of 13p to raise #3,200,000 has been completed.


The shares were admitted to trading to the AIM market of the London Stock
Exchange on 13 July 2006.
