                                  Board changes 
 
The Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter David Conroy (Peter) 
and the reappointment of Patrick John Aberneithy Greenwood (Paddy) to the Board. 
 
Peter Conroy LLB, ACA is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in 
private equity and corporate transactions. Mr Conroy will join the board as 
non-executive director. 
 
Paddy Greenwood FCA is returning to the Board having stepped down on 16 July 
2010. Mr Greenwood is a Chartered Accountant who worked at Coopers and Lybrand 
(now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) for 18 years, including 10 years as a partner in 
the firm. He will be a non-executive director advising the board on matters such 
as corporate structuring, acquisitions and financial reporting systems.

Further information on Peter Conroy 
 
With the exception of Laird Capital Limited, all of the directorships referred 
to below were appointments taken in Mr Conroy's capacity as a director of Baltic 
Group. 
 
UNS Shops Limited 
The company operated CTN shops, provided management services and was the 
principal employer for the pension scheme to the UNS Group. WH Smith Plc 
acquired UNS Group in March 2008 and transferred the pension arrangements, head 
office property and service activities from the company leaving an intercompany 
debt and liability of approximately GBP30,000. WH Smith Plc withdrew ongoing 
support in August 2008 and a liquidator was appointed. 
 
Laird Capital Limited 
Following the sale of the company's assets in April & May 2008, the company 
resolved to wind up and distribute its assets to shareholders through a solvent 
liquidation. 
 
PST (International) Limited 
The company and subsidiaries were resellers of refurbished goods. As a result of 
poor trading, the company lost money and went into insolvency in 2004. The third 
party creditor shortfall was approximately GBP500,000. 
 
Domebond Management Services Limited 
The company leased and sublet office space. As a result of an unfavourable rent 
review and a poor lettings market, the company became insolvent in 2003. The 
third party creditor shortfall was approximately GBP400,000. 
 
TV Newsweb Limited 
TV Newsweb Limited was a new media business launched in 2000. The new technology 
was not a commercial success and insolvency ensued in 2002. There was a small 
third party creditor shortfall. 
 
Rock Developments Limited 
The company acquired and developed, on advice, a retail unit in Glasgow which 
lost money and the company went into receivership in 1998. Despite a damages 
award in favour of the company for negligent advice, there was a creditor 
shortfall of approximately GBP1.25m. 
 
C.A.F.L. Limited 
A leasing company sold by the Baltic Group in 1993. This company subsequently 
went into liquidation in 1994 due to lessee bad debts. The approximate creditor 
shortfall was approximately GBP1m. 
 
Concept Restaurants Plc 
This company, a restaurant operator, raised money under the Business Expansion 
Scheme in 1988. The company did not trade profitably and was liquidated in 1993. 
The approximate creditor shortfall was less than GBP200,000.
