Winland solidifies relationship with fourth fastest growing technology company in North America with two-year agreement and initial orders totaling over $1.8 million MANKATO, Minn., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Winland Electronics, Inc., (AMEX:WEX), a leading designer and manufacturer of custom electronic control products and systems, today announced it signed a two-year purchase and supply agreement with Cardiac Science, Inc., (NASDAQ:DFIB) a leading manufacturer of life-saving public-access Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and provider of comprehensive AED/CPR training and AED program management services. Under terms of the two-year agreement, which is effective through June, 2007, Winland will build printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for Cardiac Science's new hospital defibrillator and its AED training device, which is used to train and educate customers that purchase AEDs from Cardiac Science. Winland has received initial orders valued at over $1.8 million, and has already shipped approximately $600,000 in products, with the balance of the initial order scheduled through early 2006.
