(NASDAQ:SWATNASDAQ:SWATW), a leading provider of digital video surveillance solutions, today announced that it has been selected by the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) to install its ShiftWatch(R) Transportation Video Surveillance (TVS) Systems in 92 intercity passenger rail vehicles (California locomotives and double-deck passengers cars) that operate on the Capitol Corridor and San Joaquin trains in Northern California and the Central Valley. This award is the result of a successful pilot program announced in June. Installation of these systems is expected to begin in the fourth quarter. The value of the award is estimated at $665,000 and includes purchase and installation of the security camera systems.
