BorgWarner Inc. (BWA), which makes and supplies transmissions and other parts for auto makers, said Tuesday that it will expand its northern Mississippi plant, adding 120 jobs by the end of 2012, the Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, Miss., reports on its website.

The Michigan-based company's Drivetrain Systems division in Water Valley, Miss., now employs 300 people and some of the new jobs will likely be filled by current employees as the company phases out production of some older product lines, BorgWarner said.
