-- Earlier Wednesday, UPS reported a profit of $1.69 billion.
Per-share earnings rose to $1.94 from $1.71 last year. Analysts
polled by FactSet were expecting $1.93 a share. The company backed
its outlook for adjusted earnings per share for the year of $7.45
to $7.75
-- Currently up five consecutive days; up 11.34% over this
period
-- Longest winning streak since April 1, 2019, when it rose for
five straight trading days
