Mercator Transport Welcomes Mr. André Brosseau as New Member and Chairman of The Board Of Directors

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, October 29, 2013 - Mercator Transport Group Corporation ("Mercator Transport" or the "Corporation") (TSX-V: GMT) is proud to announce Mr. Andre Brosseau has accepted to sit on its Board of Directors. Mr. Brosseau was elected as Director at the annual meeting of shareholders held October 29, 2013. Mr. Brosseau was also appointed Chairman by the members of the Board as of that same date. A brief overview of the experience and career of Mr. Brosseau follows.

Mr. Brosseau is Chairman and CEO of Avenue Capital Markets Inc., a corporation specializing in strategic intervention for Canada and US-based growth corporations. Mr. Brosseau is also a member of the Board of Calgary-based Virtutone since September 2013; Director and Chairman of the Board of Ranaz Corporation since October 2012; Director of Odesia Group since 2011; and a Director of Aptilon Inc. Mr. Brosseau holds a Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Science (Political and Economics) and a Master's Degree in Science (Political) from the Universite de Montreal.

Mr. Brosseau is currently an advisor to, and was a Director of Midas Medici Inc. from 2009 to 2013; he is also advisor to, and was on the Board of CIMCORP until 2013; he was a Director of Vantex Resources Ltd until May 2013, a junior gold exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange; was President of Blackmont Capital in Toronto until June 2009 and Chairman of Quebec Capital Markets until May 2010. For 12 years Mr. Brosseau was with CIBC in different capacities mostly based in Toronto, most recently as Managing Director, Head of Cash Equities and Co-Head of Global Cash Equities at CIBC World Markets where he was involved in some of the most important capital market transactions in Canada.
