ZURICH -- Swisscom AG (SCMN.VX) Monday said it has acquired Entris Operations from RBA Holding and Berner Kantonalbank for an undisclosed sum to boost its expertise in banking processing.

MAIN FACTS:

- Swisscom is taking on all 220 employees.

- The acquisition of the company, which specialises in processing banking operations, will secure additional processing volume for Swisscom.

- Entris Operations, headquartered in Gümligen, has a workforce of 220 employees and primarily processes payment transactions and securities trading for around 50 banks.

- In 2012, Entris Operations handled over 65 million payment transactions and processed customer deposits of around CHF35.2 billion.
