Circular incorporating Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting Posted 
 
The Directors of Global MENA Financial Assets Limited (the "Company"), a 
closed-ended investment company incorporated in Guernsey, wish to announce 
the posting of a circular, incorporating a notice convening an extraordinary 
general meeting (EGM) of the Company, today. 
 
Copies of these documents have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority in 
accordance with Rule 9.6.1 of the Listing Rules and will shortly be available 
for inspection at the UK Listing Authorities Document Viewing Facility, which is 
situated at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary 
Wharf, London E14 5HS.  These documents will also be available on the Company's 
website shortly at www.gmfa.com. 
 
Posting of the Circular and Notice Convening the EGM 
Further to the Company's announcement made on 17 July 2009, the Company confirms 
that a circular was posted today incorporating a notice convening the EGM.The 
Company is pleased to announce that the EGM is scheduled to take place on 29 
October 2009 at 10 a.m. at Arnold House, St. Julian's Avenue, St. Peter Port, 
Guernsey, GY1 3NF, The Channel Islands. 
 
Purpose of the EGM 
Further to the announcement made on 17 July 2009, the Company confirms that the 
EGM will be held for the purposes of approving either (i) the termination of the 
put option agreement entered into between the Company and its shareholder, 
Global Investment House K.S.C.C (the Put Option Agreement); or (ii) in the event 
that the shareholders of the Company do not vote in favour of the termination of 
the Put Option Agreement, the amendment of the Put Option Agreement.
