                                 Issue of Equity

11 March 2008

Following  receipt of Letters of Application to subscribe for cash at  1.0p  per
share  in  respect  of new ordinary shares of par value 0.3p each,  Maypole  has
allotted  and issued 12,150,000 new ordinary shares (`New Ordinary  Shares')  in
the Company (the 'Allotment'), as follows:

Note 1: Mr Altman is a director of New World Corporate Finance, a Company of
which Mr N J Berger (a director of the Company) is also a director.

Note 2: These shares are held jointly by Simon Bentley, the Chairman of the
Company, and his wife Esther Bentley who are trustees of the Regents Park
Estates Pension Scheme of which Simon Bentley is the sole beneficiary.

The  total  number  of  ordinary shares in issue in the  Company  following  the
Allotment  will be 161,569,058. Application has been made for the  New  Ordinary
Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM on 14 March 2008.

Repayment of Loan Notes

The  Company  also  hereby  announces that it has  repaid  �60,000  of  the  15%
unsecured  subordinated loan notes issued, and announced, by the Company  on  25
January  2007.  This  �60,000 repayment has been made to  Regents  Park  Estates
Pension  Scheme - a pension scheme of which Simon Bentley, the Chairman  of  the
Company,  is  the sole beneficiary. The verbal consent of the Company's  bankers
has been obtained to effect this repayment and consequential amendments will  be
made to certain of the finance and loan note documentation.

Following the Allotment of the New Ordinary Shares, the following persons (other
than the directors) continue to have an interest in Maypole of over 3%:

Note  3: Regents Park Estates Limited provides the services of Simon Bentley  as
non-executive Chairman to the Company.  The shares in this company are  held  on
trust for Simon Bentley by his son, Joshua Bentley.

Note 5: Maypole understands that CNT Nominees Limited is a nominee for Edinburgh
Holdings which is a Cayman company ultimately controlled by Tom Keller and David
Wilkinson.

Note  6:  Simon Bentley's holding is constituted by 22,000,000 held in  his  own
name, 15,000,000 held in the name of Regents Park Estates Limited (10,000,000 of
which  are  held  on  trust  for the Regents Park Estates  Pension  Scheme)  and
10,767,857  ordinary  shares held by the trustees of the  Regents  Park  Estates
Pension Scheme.
