Collins & Aikman Awarded Multiple DaimlerChrysler Exterior Programs TROY, Mich., July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Collins & Aikman Corporation (NYSE:CKC) announced it has recently secured the manufacturing, assembly & sequencing business for the front and rear painted fascias of a future, high volume DaimlerChrysler vehicle platform. Terms of the award were not disclosed. Over the course of the multi-year contract, Collins & Aikman will utilize its proprietary Intelliquence(TM) logistics technology to deliver just-in-time, sequenced front and rear fascia modules to DaimlerChrysler for final assembly.
