New Brunswick Scientific Co., Inc., Launches New Slim Styled Space-Saving Innova -86 Degrees Celsius Freezer
17 Octobre 2005 - 1:00PM
PR Newswire (US)
EDISON, N.J., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- New Brunswick
Scientific Co., Inc. (NBS) (NASDAQ:NBSC), today announced the
roll-out of its Innova(R) U360 ultra-low temperature freezer, the
latest in the range of 10 available models. Designed for long-term
storage of culture and tissue samples, the new -86 degrees Celsius,
12.7 cu. ft. capacity Innova U360 boasts an advanced new user
interface with data logging capability incorporated in a
slimmed-down design. This design provides a better solution for the
problem of sample storage in research and development laboratories
where space is at a premium. New Brunswick Scientific President and
Chief Operating Officer James Orcutt explained, "Our
vacuum-insulation panels reduce wall thickness, thereby maintaining
a small footprint while increasing interior storage capacity. At
only 26.4 inches wide including the handle the U360 fits where
conventional uprights cannot, and adds new low-noise technology,
superior energy efficiency and a brilliant new display with
intelligent on-screen messaging and diagnostics. The system
automatically logs up to 30 days of temperature, alarm and
door-opening data for on-screen graphing and downloading.
Programmable alarms that interface with building management systems
provide total sample security. "Today's announcement represents
another in a growing list of accomplishments owing their
realization to a sustained commitment to improving and diversifying
NBS' product line via strategic investment in R&D. This
strategy continues to produce a pipeline of innovative new products
and enhancements to help drive sales in 2006 and beyond," Orcutt
concluded. To be added to New Brunswick Scientific's e-mail
