NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 20, 2011, Engex, Inc. (the "Fund") completed the filing of its Form N-SAR-B with the Securities and Exchange Commission which included the opinion of newly appointed accountants.

On December 16, 2011, the Fund received notice from the NYSE Amex (the "Exchange") that the Fund had failed to meet the requirements of the Exchange's Company Guide by not completing the timely filing of its Form N-SAR-B. The filing was delayed due to the resignation of the Fund's certifying accountants shortly after the end of the Fund's fiscal year because of the accountants' inability to ensure their independence.

Following the filing of its Form N-SAR-B with the Commission, the Fund received notification from the Exchange on December 20, 2011 that the Fund had resolved the continued listing deficiencies referenced in the Exchange's December 16, 2011 letter.
