The Thai Capital Fund, Inc. Announces Annual Distribution For 2012
PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 21,
2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Thai Capital Fund, Inc. (NYSE MKT:
TF) (the "Fund"), a closed-end management investment company, today
announced a dividend to the Fund's shareholders of U.S.
$0.987071 per share. This dividend
will be paid in cash from short-term and long-term capital
gain. The long-term capital gain portion of the distribution
is $0.574945 per share and the
short-term portion of the distribution is $0.412126 per share.

Shareholders who participate in the Fund's Dividend Reinvestment
and Cash Purchase Plan will receive an equivalent dividend amount
in shares of the Fund.
The dividend will be payable on January
11, 2013 to the shareholders of record at the close of
business on December 31, 2012. The
ex-dividend date will be December 27,
2012.
