    Significant Shareholding in the Company

    In response to a request under section 212 of the Companies Act 1985, the
    Company was notified on 24 February 2003 that Laxey Investors Ltd had
    decreased its shareholding in the Company to 45,692,949 ordinary shares,
    representing approximately 6.3% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
    Company. Laxey Investors Ltd made the disposal of certain of its shares on
    21 November 2002.
