BOARD APPOINTMENT
                                    
TT electronics is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Rodgers to
its  Board.  Neil Rodgers will assume the post of Chief Executive  on  5
April 2004 following the retirement of Sheridan Comonte.

Neil  Rodgers,  who is a qualified accountant, joined TT electronics  in
1992  as  a  divisional  finance director. Two  years  later  he  became
managing director of the group's UK automotive climate control business.
In  1996  he  was  appointed as divisional chief  executive  with  prime
responsibility for the group's global automotive market. Sales  to  this
market have risen from �89 million in 1996 to �139 million in 2002 while
operating  profits have achieved a compound annual growth rate  of  more
than 12 per cent.

Commenting on the appointment, John Newman, Executive Chairman said  "We
are  delighted  to welcome Neil to the Board. Under his  management  the
group's  automotive activities have performed consistently  well.  I  am
sure that he will make a significant contribution at Board level."
