City University Expands Programs and Locations University Increases Program Offerings And Opens A New Location In Washington BELLEVUE, Wash., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- City University is expanding its services to meet the needs of its growing student base. Over the next six months, City University will be experiencing exciting growth throughout the state in all three of its schools: The School of Business and Management, The Albright School of Education and The School of Human Services and Applied Behavioral Science. City University will be adding or expanding programs to the following markets: Fife, Tri-Cities, Vancouver, Bellingham, Kitsap, and Port Hadlock. The university has recently expanded its program offerings in two locations in Western Washington. In Bellingham, the university has extended its partnership with Bellingham Technical College to include a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), and a Bachelor of Art in Education (BAEd). At the Kitsap site, the university will re-introduce a Master of Business Administration (MBA) cohort. In April, the university will move from its current Pierce County location in Tacoma, to its new site in Fife. The new location is 26,606 square feet (double the size of the previous site) and includes a curriculum resource center, two 25-seat teaching labs, a walk-up computer lab with seating for 20, and a large conference room for 100-plus students. In July, the university's Albright School of Education will begin offering a Master in Teaching (MiT), one-year, intensive program in the Tri-Cities. In addition to the MiT program, the university will soon begin offering the following endorsement programs: middle-level math, middle-level science, middle-level humanities, reading, and English as a Second Language/ English Language Learners (ESL/ELL) Also this summer, the Vancouver, Wash. site will begin offering a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology (BAAP) in the School of Human Services and Applied Behavioral Science. And finally, this fall, City University will begin offering a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program (MACP) on the Peninsula in Port Hadlock.
