CruiseCam International, Inc. Announces 100,000 Ford Crown
Victoria's Are Seat-ready for CruiseCam InCar Security Video System
TROY, Mich., July 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CruiseCam
International, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SGCA) a leading developer of
vehicle video integrated technology for the law enforcement
industry, announces all 100,000 Ford Crown Victoria vehicles (model
year 2003 through 2004) are manufactured seat-ready by the Lear
Corporation for the CruiseCam InCar Security Video Systems for Law
Enforcement. D. Scott Watkins, CEO and President of CruiseCam
International, Inc, said, "We are very pleased the Lear Corporation
has made 100,000 seat-ready Crown Victoria Police Interceptors
which can incorporate our CruiseCam InCar Security Video Systems
for Law Enforcement, and will be producing an additional 60,000
seats before the program enters the next generation. It proves our
system leads the market in security benefits, safety and return on
investment for our customers. We are proud to serve the officers
and agencies that protect our citizens and communities each day,
and with 500,000 law enforcement vehicles in the market at any
given time, our opportunities are phenomenal." The patented
protected CruiseCam design integrates three high-tech cameras, two
microphones, control panel and recording equipment all InCar. The
optimized design is not only safe, but doesn't cannibalize already
cramped police vehicle workspace. Furthermore, the CruiseCam
recorder is located InCar, not in the trunk vault. Placement of
components in police vehicle truck vaults, have been known to
contribute to fire hazards. CruiseCam exceeds the Federal Motor
Vehicles Safety Standard (FMVSS) 208-301 and Head Injury
Protection. Independent research crash test results prove that
CruiseCam maintains its structural integrity and does not break
free during a crash, nor does it present a condition of bodily harm
to passengers. However, in the same crash tests, competitor's
windshield and dashboard-mounted systems did not bode well. The
camera broke free, and was airborne in the passenger compartment.
Furthermore, even when the camera stayed rigid, it presented itself
as a dangerous obstacle that may injure an officer, because it is
not meant to be in that impact zone. "Once Law Enforcement agencies
compare the line-up of InCar Security Video Systems by CruiseCam,
they find that our systems are simply the best," said Watkins.
Larry Martin of the Lincolnwood Police Department, Lincolnwood,
Illinois reported, "I have three CruiseCam systems up and running
in our patrol vehicles. Although they are new, they are the best of
the three systems we currently have. We also have Kustom Signal and
DocuCam systems." Available North and South America-wide, CruiseCam
systems are designed for all law enforcement vehicle types,
including the Crown Victoria, Explorer, Expedition, F-150,
Excursion Impala, Tahoe, Intrepid, Durango and more. Additionally,
CruiseCam International, Inc. products are currently used n the
Motor Sports Industry and the Law Enforcement Community. Visit
