After touching a low of 533.14 by about 6:55 am ET, the dollar traded higher against its Chilean counterpart during New York mid-day deals on Friday. At about 12:20 pm ET, the pair jumped to 540.65, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value of 534.55. This set a 9-day high for the US currency. The next upside target level for the greenback is seen at 548.5. Presently, the pair is worth 638.55.
