substitution.

National Grid Gas plc has been substituted for National Grid Gas Holdings plc as
principal debtor in respect of the three bonds listed below. National Grid Gas
Holdings plc is guarantor of the bonds. The listing of the bonds will be
transferred from the Regulated Market of the London Stock Exchange plc to the
Professional Securities Market of the London Stock Exchange.
